The Grand River Region Planning Team of the School/College/Work Initiative continues to focus on collaboration and developing awareness among those who are key to actively promoting college as a pathway of choice for more secondary school students. It also continues to provide, through dual credit programs, viable new educational opportunities for secondary school students. Through project activities students experience the skilled trades and college life at intermediate level and throughout secondary school. Educational partner organizations cooperate to provide complete, accurate and current information to staff, students and parents about post-secondary destinations with an emphasis on college and apprenticeship programs.
